What to expect when it comes to the topics of this year’s edition?
Well, first and foremost some vintage ballroom dances that have been inspired by animal movement (like i.e. Grizzly Bear). You can also expect some ballroom blues classes (see the inspiration in the link below) with flashy elements that can be used to dance counterclockwise for the reconstruction recording.
In the solo classes you will experiment with polyrhythms in blues and get some inspiration for the solo performance or jam. In the slow lindy classes you will fly to the moon and sometimes tap like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
In the slow balboa classes you will check how much ballroom blues there is in slow balboa and how much slow balboa there is in blues Now, isn’t this a cool slow agenda? What do you think?

LEVEL OF CLASSES 💥💥💥
SAVOY PASS – The level of classes is quite open due to the fact that 1. for most dancers these are new dance genres or 2. the technique is a challenge for every dancer regardless of their general dance level.
Nevertheless, it is important for us that people with swing/blues experience of at least a few months attend the classes, because they require knowledge of basic dance concepts.
SOLO PASS – for people who have been dancing lindy hop or blues for at least six months
BLUES PASS – for people who have been dancing lindy hop or blues for at least six months
SLOW LINDY PASS – for lindy hop dancers with min. a year of experience
BALBOA – for people who have been dancing balboa, lindy hop or blues for at least a few months
